The components of a pop-up tent

A pop-up pavilion is composed of multiple individual components. But what are they called and what do they do? We have prepared a clear overview that shows the pop-up tent and its key parts, with a brief description of each.

The main structure

The pop-up pavilion can basically be divided into six main components:

1. Tent roof

Protects against sun (UV radiation) and rain.

  • Material: polyester, approx. 210–260 g/m²

2. Corner connector with release button

Connects the tent legs to the support bars and provides stability in both the open and closed position.
