Small parasols are defined as sunshades with a diameter of up to 2 meters. They are used in all kinds of events and are available in various designs. The differences between the small parasols are described in the following section.
Shape
Small sunshades come in both round and square shapes. Round parasols typically feature 8 segments, while square parasols commonly boast 4 segments. Additionally, all models can be crafted with or without a valance, which significantly influences their appearance. Umbrellas without exude a classic aesthetic, while those with a valance adopt a more modern look.
Size
Both round and square parasols are available in different sizes. Typically at events, round umbrellas with a diameter of 180cm are used and square umbrellas with a diameter of 125cm are used.
Function
All small parasols are made of a sturdy frame with a steel shaft and a high-quality polyester cover. The pole is always in two parts, which makes the umbrellas particularly portable. Some models have a folding mechanism, which can be advantageous when wanting to cast shade in a specific area.
Get them printed
Small umbrellas present ideal advertising space opportunities. Every model can be flexibly and individually customised as advertising umbrellas. For small runs, orders are digitally printed, while planographic printing is utilised for larger quantities. Additionally, umbrellas can incorporate coloured areas according to Pantone specifications and accommodate photo printing for enhanced personalisation.

Accessories
The most important accessory for a parasol is the appropriate base. There are various options depending on how you will use the umbrella. Filler stands are classic (filled with sand or water), folding stands are very practical. Table clamps are also available for special installations (e.g. on a fixed table).
Alternatives
As an alternative, large umbrellas or folding tents can be used. Large umbrellas differ from small umbrellas in terms of size, frame construction and opening system. Folding tents offer an interesting and practical alternative to umbrellas, especially for events.
