At Schirmmacher, we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality products. To ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer the following warranty on all products:
Scope of Guarantee
Our warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects that may occur during normal use. If you notice a problem with your product within the warranty period, we will endeavour to find a suitable solution.
We will either repair your product immediately or replace it with a new one. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, we will refund the purchase price.
The warranty period is 2 years (starting from the date of purchase)!
Warranty Services
In the event of a defect, we can offer you the following options:
- Repair: Free repair of your umbrella, if possible.
- Replacement: If a repair is not possible, we will replace the product with a new or equivalent model.
- Refund: If neither a repair nor a replacement is possible, we will refund the purchase price.
Warranty Exclusions
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper use, neglect, accidents, abrasion, extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water or normal wear and tear. Transport damage is also excluded from the guarantee. If transport damage is recognisable upon receipt of the goods, it must be reported immediately. Ideally, this should be done directly with the carrier.
Changes in colour caused by UV light and sunlight are also excluded from the guarantee. We pay particular attention to ensuring that the lightfastness of parasols is as high as possible. However, it is not possible to guarantee absolute light resistance of the fabric and printing colours. We would be happy to advise you personally on this subject.
